I have taken art courses since 7thJun 24 2007Interior Design
I have taken art courses since 7th grade and have won a national art award. During high school I completed 3 AP art courses and submitted a variety of artwork for my portfolio. Art schools won't look at your SAT scores and grades as much as they will your artwork, the stronger the work the less you have to worry - of course. Good luck. I found Pratt very easy to get into.

I thought I wasn't going to get inDec 12 2004Art & Design Department
I thought I wasn't going to get in. I only took a drawing class and painting class, and had very few observational drawings in my portfolio, but for some reason they took me in. I had a 1130 on my sats, and a 3.6. They must have taken me in because of my academics, but even so I don't think I was a great candidate. I didn't even finish my application, I didn't send the letter of recommendation, and I still got in.
